LaundryOS Refund & Cancellation Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Scope and who decides
This Policy covers cancellations and refunds for orders placed through LaundryOS, operated by Udinna Technologies Limited (RC 9107166). The laundry service is provided by the individual Laundromat you order from, so the Laundromat decides refund outcomes; LaundryOS (Udinna) provides the tooling that processes an approved refund. Your local consumer-protection rights are not affected by this Policy.
2. Self-service wash reservations
Self-service wash slots are free reservations: no payment is taken to book. You can cancel or change a reservation at any time before it starts at no charge. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to reserve.
3. Cancelling a paid order (drop-off / pickup and delivery)
Whether a paid order can be cancelled, and how much is refundable, depends on how far the Laundromat has progressed it:
- Before processing begins (for example, before pickup or before items are washed): typically eligible for a full refund.
- After processing has begun: a partial refund may apply, reflecting work already done and any pickup/delivery already performed.
- Once completed: generally not refundable, except for a service-quality issue (section 5).
The exact cut-offs are set by each Laundromat; check the order screen or ask the Laundromat.
4. Over-payments
If you are charged more than the final amount due on an order (for example, an estimate that came down after inspection), the over-payment is refundable. Owners/managers at the Laundromat can issue this refund.
5. Service-quality issues
If your items were not cleaned to a reasonable standard, or were lost or damaged, raise it with the Laundromat promptly (keep your receipt/order reference). Remedies (re-clean, partial or full refund, or compensation) are handled under the Laundromat's garment-care and liability policy. Udinna is not a party to the laundry service.
6. How refunds are issued
- Card and online payments are refunded to your original payment method through our processor (Paystack). Card refunds are submitted to the gateway and confirmed when the gateway completes them. This can take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
- Cash and bank-transfer (offline) payments are refunded by the Laundromat by the same or an agreed method.
- You will see refunds reflected in your order history once processed.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of requesting a refund from the Laundromat, the bank may raise a chargeback. We record and cooperate in resolving disputes. Please try to resolve issues with the Laundromat first; it is usually faster than a chargeback.
8. How to request a refund or cancellation
- Open the order in the LaundryOS customer app.
- Use the cancel/refund option if available, or contact the Laundromat through the Platform.
- For help when the Laundromat is unreachable, contact LaundryOS support at hello@udinna.com; we can help facilitate, though the refund decision rests with the Laundromat.
9. Contact
Refund questions: the Laundromat via the Platform, or hello@udinna.com for platform assistance.
