LaundryOS Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

LaundryOS is a laundry-management platform operated by Udinna Technologies Limited ("Udinna", "we", "us", "the Platform"), a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9107166) with its registered office at 15 Baale Street, Ogoyo, Lekki Peninsula, Lagos, Nigeria, contactable at hello@udinna.com.

The Platform lets independent laundry businesses ("Laundromats", each a "Business") offer their services to their own customers ("you", "the Customer"). These Terms govern your use of the LaundryOS Platform: the customer app, booking, payment, and order-tracking features.

Important: who provides your laundry service. The laundry itself (washing, drying, folding, pickup/delivery) is provided by the individual Laundromat you order from, not by Udinna. Your contract for the laundry service is with that Laundromat. Udinna provides and operates the software and payment tooling that connect you to it. Each Laundromat may have its own additional terms (service standards, garment-care and liability policies, collection windows); where they conflict with these Terms in respect of the laundry service, the Laundromat's terms govern that service.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may ask you to verify your email address and/or phone number; some features (for example, scheduling pickup and delivery) may require verification.

3. Booking and services

The Platform supports three service models, subject to what each Laundromat offers:

Estimates and final price. Prices shown at booking are an estimate based on the items and services you select. When the Laundromat inspects your items at drop-off, the final price may be adjusted (for example, item counts, weight, or added treatments). Material changes made by staff are subject to the Laundromat's internal approval before they apply, and you will be able to see and pay any balance due.

4. Pricing, payment, and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency of the Laundromat's branch you order from and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes and fees as displayed at checkout. You can pay:

Funds for your order settle to the Laundromat, not to Udinna. Udinna charges the Laundromat a platform fee; that arrangement is between Udinna and the Laundromat and does not change the price you see. Payment is confirmed by our verified record of the transaction, not by the return screen alone.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: self-service reservations can be cancelled at no charge; paid orders may be cancelled and refunded depending on how far the Laundromat has progressed the work; approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate item and address information; not submit items that are prohibited, hazardous, or that you are not entitled to launder; collect completed orders within the Laundromat's stated window; and treat staff and riders respectfully. You are responsible for removing valuables from items before handing them over.

7. Garment care, loss, and damage

Care, loss, and damage of your items are the responsibility of the Laundromat that handles them and are governed by that Laundromat's garment-care and liability policy. Udinna is not a party to the laundry service and is not liable for the cleaning outcome, or for loss of or damage to your items. Raise any such issue with the Laundromat directly; the Platform provides tools (order history, receipts, messaging) to help resolve it.

8. Acceptable use of the Platform

You agree not to misuse the Platform: no attempting to breach security or access other users' data, no automated scraping, no fraudulent bookings or payments, no reverse engineering, and no use that breaks applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for breach.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software, branding, and content are owned by Udinna or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose. Each Laundromat retains its own brand and content.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Udinna disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, Udinna's total liability to you arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the platform fees attributable to your affected order. Liability for the laundry service itself rests with the Laundromat.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

For orders placed with a Laundromat in Nigeria, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction. For orders placed with a Laundromat in the United Kingdom, the laws of England and Wales apply and its courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you locally.
